Padma Lakshmi Bio
Padma Parvati Lakshmi, a daughter of Padma Parvati Lakshmi, was born in Chennai, India, on September 1, 1970. Lakshmi's parents split at the age two. To escape the stigma of divorce in India her mother emigrated to the United States. Lakshmi lived in Chennai with her maternal grandparents for two years, before she moved to the United States. Both her parents divorced and she was blessed with a younger halfbrother as well as a half-sister of her father. Lakshmi shares her name with the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity. She was born in New York, then moved to Los Angeles with her stepfather and mother. She would return to India for a few months each year to visit her relatives. Padma Lakshmi became interested in acting in 1999. She first appeared in the movie "Figlio di Sandokan" which was which was an Italian pirate movie. Then, she appeared in 'Caraibi (Pirates: Blood Brothers), an episode that focused on pirates of the 17th century. She also hosted Italy's highest-rated television show 'Domenica In.' In 2001, she played a comical supporting role as a disco singer in the film 'Glitter' an American movie. Padma has one daughter, Krishna Thea Lakshmi Dell, with Adam Dell who is a venture investor. Krishna was born on the 20th of February 2010 at the age of 20. She also has been involved with Teddy Forstmann, the ex-chairman and CEO of IMG. Lakshmi has a child with American venture capitalist Adam Dell. Lakshmi has since disclosed that the father of the child was Dell, although she initially kept his identity from the public. She told her daughter that "everything is more enjoyable when they are around." From the very beginning to the end of the day, everything can be done. I am not interested in anything else that her.
